Well, it wasn't really delivered to our doorstep. Since we reside in the Philippines, we had one of our friends buy it in the US and bring the Kindle 2 when she came home.  We saved a lot on shipping and taxes this way.

The Kindle 2 comes with an instruction booklet and a USB charger that has a wall plug adapter.

First look, we were all surprised how sleek the Kindle 2 is. Here's a comparison with the Ipod Classic 80Gb and an Ipod Nano 4G

Of course, the Kindle 2 is a lot bigger so that you can easily read the text, but it's really quite thin as you can see from the side shot below.
